I am taking the S2 into work for the first time in ages tomorrow. We have done lots of work to organise things and have booking schedules etc all planed so I don't think we are at risk of performing a Cummins as it is something we could not do from home in this case.

MoT, Tax, Inspection all done. My word I am looking forward to this. Photos for proof of life will be provided.

Shake down "cruise" innocent on Monday, out to a village to the west of Banbury with as little use of motorways as possible - fabulous day.

Off to Techniques tomorrow for service and MOT, now that it's taxed for the summer. So it's obviously my fault the weathers changed, sorry guys blush

The heatwave has broken, intermittent rain all day, so Tarka is sulking in the garage!

Sunny weather & a helicopter view................may be the best way of viewing my S1

And the best way of hearing it........

As you can tell, I've finally worked out how to paste a photo or two!

I do wish people would stop showing me "side pipe porn". I may have to give in and go down that route.
I was talking to a local exhaust specialist and he suggested that there is enough space under the running boards to run an exhaust down and back, through a couple of slim silencers each side and exit at the front..... TVR Project style.
He also suggested it could exit upwards, through the wing, just in front of the doors.
Hmm....

I was out in the S2 today Peter. The single pipe in the earlier cars is a lot less holigan until you go to open throttle and higher revs, or naughty with both of those......
The dual side pipes on the Coupe scares things at a distance, still love it.

I wonder if there is a silencer difference between the S2 Roadster and the S4 Coupe?
