Just had notification of registration today so here we are!
Bought Rosie, a red Plus 4, a few weeks ago. 1998 and a little cracker.
Journey to my first Morgan has been tenuous. First ordered one (new) as a young subaltern in Germany back in the early eighties when the waiting list was about seven years. Needless to say, when called upon to pay for the damned thing I was newly married, broke and servicing a mortgage of about 15% 🤭.
Since then I have always had the itch but every time I got half serious something stopped me.
Anyway, a few months ago I exchanged my Tesla Model S for a VW California. Sold my lovely Honda S2000 and bought a sensible Volvo V70 for the dog.
Five days later, lockdown arrived.
So I had VW Campervan outside and nowhere to go. No VTech sports car to relieve the stress. I had some premium bonds doing nothing so I thought ‘what the hell’ and bought Rosie.
How wonderful it has been! What a honeymoon!!
We are still having sex every day on the wonderful Suffolk roads and (thus far) she has been a low maintenance girl and full of fun. First day out we approached a three wheeler and I thought we would crash into each other - so enthusiastic were our gesticulations.
Nothing much seems to be happening in the FolkMog arena at present so if any wild Suffolk owners fancy an independent thrash and a makeshift picnic somewhere near water please give me a shout.👍

Hi MorgantheFreeMan, what a lovely story. Welcome here on TM I can understand it so well when such a long dream comes true. Before I bought my first Morgan I was also a S2000 driver. This car is still very cool today and honestly, I should have kept it in 2005, which I could have done then. I am happy about every new entry here on TM and today there are three! What a lucky day. We will have a lot of fun exchanging ideas about Morgan, Honda, tube amps, dogs, hifi in general, tuning etc. And when Corona is over, I swear, all of us who can make it take part of a huge real party somewhere, maybe in UK and we chat and drink (who likes it) and drive to the most beautiful places all together.

A warm welcome from NE Scotland, there seems to be a rush of new Morgan owners at the moment. I guess a lot of thinking has been done during lockdown.
Enjoy your car to the max.

Hi Hawki
I am in Lower Somersham about 6 miles East of Ipswich off the A14 but have a boat in Fox’s so spend a lot of time there.
Was in Woodbridge last week when two Mogs ambled past, green one and cream one I think. It was then the idea of mini-runs occurred to me.

Can I add my name to the list of those welcoming new members. I suspect much of that which can make Morgans special is the type of people attracted to own and live with one long term. There was a time when Morgans attracted the hands-on types, though perhaps less so when technological advance complicated things to some degree, However there are ever those who are more than happy to get in amongst their Morgan in search of understanding and improvement, which seems to ever have been the way of a Morganeer.. I hope you can enjoy your Morgan over many years MFM..
