Quick update-
Dad’s whole demeanor has made a significant change, he has joined the British Car Club in Memphis and is looking forward to joining them for Cars and Coffee one Saturday soon.
He has found a mechanic that he likes and trusts and they’re doing a few things to the car...I won’t be asking anymore questions here because he’s literally and figuratively behind the wheel now.
I couldn’t be happier, I read all of the responses and well wishes to him and he’s bewildered that people from all over the world had such interest and sent their regards. I’m particularly thankful for the seller, Bill because he paid for transport from AZ to OK, “In honor of my late dad and as a gift to yours.” What an indescribably honorable and thoughtful thing to do.
When I visit him next I’ll show him how to join this group and the other one mentioned but don’t look forward to him posting anything, he just got his first iPhone a few days before we arrived. He’s just not interested in technology at all but is starting to see some value in some of it, particularly if it has to do with his car.
So thanks again gang- very much appreciate your support throughout this journey.
