Nice little evening trip out to Dartington Hall to celebrate her 21st Birthday, still very much closed up to the public.

Did a bit of thinking on the run and decided that this is the car I want to keep because of her attractive foibles and the V8 Librands Sport sound track is incomparable with the newer models, we have two other cars in the stable for quick sure footed economical motoring but that's not what I seek at all in my fun car so that's the door firmly closed on a CX - I think wink

Richard, your Morgan looks beautiful! I can imagine that in a few years after the " shake-up " of the new CX models, the classic Morgans will be much more consolidated than they are at the moment. The CX models will calm down, but that doesn't mean that they are not attractive and will be the future and hopefully sell well in their target group. Both species have their own attraction and justification. But the traditional Morgan are on the fast lane to position themselves as classics and be perceived as such. Thus they gain character and uniqueness because they are no longer reproduced and can only be preserved. Then everything that makes a Trad is all the more emotionally moving.
