You might notice that your username is now displayed in a subtly different colour, denoting that your financial contribution has been registered. As mentioned, one of the privileges of this is that you can post directly into the For Sale section.

Yes Pete, it used to be a covert benefit because my belief was that spammers (we used to get some 'interesting' offers from errant new posters!) would not contribute to the site (other than their kind offers of enhancing potions and lotions!).
