Looks very thin for starting to me too. 10mm sq is only good for around 40-50 amps max and a just start would pull in excess of 200. Probably intended for a rapid charger but I wouldn't want to pull full starting current through it.

Anderson connectors come in various ratings and pin sizes to accommodate from 6mm to 50mm cable sizes and different current rating
My connectors are the SB175 Voltage rating: 600V AC/DC max.Current rating: 280A max. UL rating ('hot' connect & dis-connect allowable up to 100A) and take either 25mm or 50mm cable

I have checked the cable size on mine and it's 25mm so a lower current rating than the max above, which I am happy with
