Hello Carlo, welcome to TM. If you get a magnet and place it on the panels (through a piece of cloth to prevent marking the paintwork ) if it is attracted it will be steel if not alloy.
Either were available at the time of your car.

Carlo, welcome to talk Morgan. I sure you will have a great time in your car. I took mine to lake Garda last year and it causes lots of interest.

Don't be surprised to find that there are places in a 1980s Morgan where both steel and aluminium are in very close contact, leading to galvanic corrosion. They tended to avoid painting the whole car as well so that bare metal was left with no protection whatsoever. In my 1980 Plus 8, the scuttle under the windscreen was steel as was the cowl and bulkhead whereas the rest was aluminium. The doors were steel with aluminium skins such that by the time I rebuilt it the bottom edge of the doors had disappeared along with the edge of the wings. It's not all bad though, as I got 240,000 miles out of it and it now looks like new again and is ready for continental touring again (COVID allowing).

My '59 Plus 4 was rebuilt in the mid-80s with it's new tub skinned in aluminum--which I only realized when trying to add a magnetic rally badge!

Your bulkhead and cowl will be steel Carlo, regardless of the rest of the body.
