I got the unwanted NVH ballast when my 2013 had a new chassis in 2017. When the NVH kit was first announced for retrofit I asked my dealer to order it. When it arrived they showed the kit to me but declined to fit it as the time MMC allowed it was unprofitable for them. Good move,it went back to MMC. If your vehicle came with the NVH would you remove it? Yes I just did ...

I did as well. No more banging and a lot less weight. This is one area Morgan went backwards as they made improvements. It is a good winter project.

Thanks guys. What did you have to do to remove it? Add anything else?

Those are nicely done videos and give one confidence in making the change. BTW, that change makes sense.

One more thing to the list….
When I'll manage to travel to the UK, the stop by Phil's workshop is a must. Centa and BB modifications in the bucket list.

I dont think you can just unbolt it. I think Phil Bleazy offers a direct mount solution.

This begs the question:- "How long will it be before someone is killed or badly injured by faults such as this?"
I have recently sold my 2013 car with 19K+ miles on the clock and I have to say that although it was great fun to drive and I will surely miss it, they do certianly live up to the claim in the original MMC advert that "every drive would be an adventure". Every time you went out for a ride, it was debateable how you would get home, i.e either in one piece, on the back of a pick-up truck, in an ambulance or in a wooden box. Given the cost of these machines, there is no excuse for life threatening faults such as this, as a result of design faults and/or use of poor quality or incorrect materials and lack of proper development.
Having said that, I do miss my M3W. Well Keith, I guess you're off the Morgan Christmas card list......
