It is with great sadness that we have to report that Quentin English died early this morning after a short illness. He had been diagnosed with cancer just over two weeks ago.
Our deepest sympathy goes out to Ann and her family.
Ann is appreciating the expressions of support and sympathy, and would ask that these are in the form of cards or emails (to travel@vinmog.fr ) but please, no phone calls at this time.
Ann is determined that the VinMog trip to Le Mans Classic in 2021 will go ahead after all the hard work put into it by Quentin.
If anyone has any questions then could they please send them to me at secretaire@vinmog.fr rather than bothering Ann at the moment.

So very sad to hear.
A truly nice man who went out of his way to make sure everything was perfect for VinMog travellers.
A real gentleman, who was a pleasure to be with.

Oh no! That is such sad news.
I know that many people on TM knew Quentin and he will be sadly missed,
He had found a new lease of life with you at Vinmog and I know how much he enjoyed himself.
Always a gentleman and a friend for many years.
Tonight, we will raise a glass of decent red and say goodbye.

Very sorry to get this news- Quentin looked after the PaddyMogs excellently on our trips to Classic Le Mans. Our condolences to Ann and all his nearest and dearest

I am really saddened by that news. He was one of nature's gentlemen, but a great organiser of anything Morgan , anything form race meetings to Mog trips.
It must be doubly difficult for Ann at this time of restrictions on travel , contact etc , but if anybody is in "her bubble" would they please pass on my condolences.
I first got to know him in the late 60s when he was active in the London Centre of the Morgan 4/4 club (as it was then known) , he and I had an instant rapport which has never left us . Even though we would not see each other much for years , we would take up once more as if it were yesterday. I will really miss him both as a link to the past but also just a wonderful human being.
I don't think he always saw eye to eye with the MSCC committee, and their treatment of him was not their proudest moment, but I hope there will be forgiveness from their side now.

What sad news, Quentin was one of life's true gentlemen. My deepest condolences to his family and loved ones. RIP.
