So sorry to hear of his sudden demise.only met him a couple of times but his name went before him RIP.

What sad news. I met him once at Monthléry, but like Spanner Juggler, he greeted me as an old friend.

Such sad news to hear this, we've enjoyed all Quentins trips & he and Ann always went the extra mile with their organising skills.

No words really it's all been said but I always remember him telling me that he had just bought a double garage on the S.Downs with the benefit of a bungalow attached and on a trip to the Le Mans Classic where he proudly showed everyone his newly restored Lancia. A very nice chap indeed.

I never met Quentin though I learned just a little bit of the man he was in terms of assisting people to enjoy aspects of Morganeering that they might not have discovered if left to their own devices.

I remember well on MSCCDG and eMog, tales of the cattle sheds at LeMans and fun times for not only the groups of Morganeers who were able to partake in the real life experiences, I suspect there were many more of us following Quintin`s sharing of the tales of Le Mans daring do, and thus were able to part share in the experience of being there.

Jeez this has been a sad year indeed for the old hands in the Morgan community, to loose yet another who shared so much of himself for the advantage of others, both in real life and via cyber means.

I often say to the Misses "it's a shame SOME people have to die" even at an old age SOME people in my opinion just need to live on because they can give so much more.

I am sad, he was so nice to myself and Shell when we were new to the Morgan ferternity, I was looking forward to meeting up with him at Le Man's, a big set of shoes to fill I am affraid.

The way elements of the MSCC Committee behaved towards Q was one of the reasons I felt unable to continue as Vice Chair, to the irritation of many who felt I was "letting the side down".
With my 20/20 hindsight I should never have stood, temperamentally I am unsuited to the sort of management role expected by MSCC.
I never met him, now I shall never meet him: that saddens me.

The quality that I think I admired most in Quentin is that he most most principled and a big believer in fairness. The Mog community will miss his contributions, with of course the support of Ann, enormously.

You've said it Waikorie. What a loss and how sad we all are, those who met him in 2018 at LMC. We felt like we knew him before we arrived. And now we won't get to shake hands with him again and tell him how much we appreciated his work. I am sure Ann and Russel and Jims and others will make LMC 2021 special and this is why Morgan friends and I are now renewing our commitment to being there next year so that we can pay tribute and express gratitude.
