Hi
I see there is a cheap Aero 8 (2007/31000 miles) on Ebay at the moment for £31K.
It is advertised as +VAT which is an interesting but misleading concept on a used car

The seller is an auction house.
The VAT issue is unclear, as stated.
It either means that VAT was reclaimed at some point, so 20% VAT us due on top of the car price and the sellers fees.
Or it means VAT is to be paid on the sellers fees.
Either way it is a well priced car.
Or the market price for used Aeros has collapsed. Unlikely.

iIt's also listed in an auction for 18th July. Auction ListingAuction Estimate is £28 to 33K....

Auction estimates are often low in an attempt to entice bidders, the price then goes for well over estimate, in a 'normal' market that is. There will also be buyer's fees unless it is bought off the Ebay site
Considering how good the car looks externally & with the interior, the engine bay looks strangely grubby, also with no plastic engine cover in place
It will be interesting to see what happens to the Ebay car though, because it is a cheap car, a bit too cheap really, does anyone on here know the car?

gosh , that does look cheap  - as you mention, I wonder if there is a 'story' behind it? I think (but may be wrong) that Morgan dispensed with the plastic engine cover by the Series III James

MOT until Sept, but no tax since last July
MOT history shows it was used regularly, doing 1-3,000 miles a year
Previous MOTs were in March, so the Sept one is a change in the owner's behaviour
Last logbook change was in 2011
All of which looks quite encouraging - though at that price a dealer could buy it and make a margin

I thought I knew the plate as the factory demo car that Steve Morris ran for a time? I thought I saw it at the first thrill on the hill going up a few times.
Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.
