I have a wanner and it’s great. The only downside is you have to fill it up manually as it does not take cartridges. I tried a cartridge gun but is was no way as good as a wanner

And there's not a grease nipple on the Morgan that I can't reach with the Wanner.....

Castrol (& other) grease comes in a plastic pot with a mega washer in the top. The mega washer has a 12mm diameter hole. Simply place the open great gun over the hole and push down. In seconds the grease gun is full. A slide to one side to finish off the fill and a minimal wipe over required before re-fitting the top of the gun. All you need to do then, with a pistol type gun, is to bleed out the air. Simples.

Can't be arsed spooning grease out of a tub into a grease gun.
Worked on heavy plant and forestry machinery which needed daily greasing else the link pins would wear the holes oval. If I had to use a Wanner, it would need filling up several times, be mid morning before I started processing the timber.
Lever action cartridge gun every time for me with a flexi hose.

I use 'pin n bush' grease also via a £13 Chinese made lever action gun with flexi hose. Works better than anything else I've ever used, including Wanners.

I tried one of those washers from another grease pot (and which work perfectly with most greases) but the 'red and tacky' was just too 'tacky' and couldn't get it to fill properly. Bearing in mind that I've filled my grease gun about 5 times in the last 18mths, I can live with the 3 minutes it take with the spoon. I usually pull the plunger down a few cms, stick a few spoonfuls in, then pull down a few cms and repeat. Gets it cram full.
If I was greasing on an industrial level like Arwyn, then I'd go to cartridges as well!
The joy of the Wanner for me, is by swivelling the tube I can get it into knooks and crannies that I couldn't get my flexy hose in, as the gaps not big enough to get my hand in - front propshaft nipple comes to mind, and I can get it into the rear axle nipples by threading in between brake lines and handbrake bars without having to remove the wheels.
