Great to see a few cars out and about, and a lovely overhead shot of the S1.

A delightful run from Salisbury to Lychett Minster and back, 70 odd miles.
The plan was to go via Ringwood, but the traffic was as might be expected on a Bank Holiday pre COVID. The reason was made clear today with photos of Bournemouth Beach yesterday..
Anyway I went cross country using minor roads and although it took a bit longer it was the better journey for it.

Driving a Plus 8 when it is over 30c, even with A/C was thirsty work. For the run back I put up the roof and with the A/C blasting out cold air it was a much nicer trip. I've concluded an open car when it is over 27C is not as much fun as it seems!

Tarka ran flawlessly, engine temperature rock solid at 95C and no heat soak into the cockpit, just great wafts of hot air from the bonnet when accelerating hard.... somestick

Managed to avoid the dreaded side exhaust calf burn so far with wearing shorts - branded like a Texan steer last summer.

12 years in a Caterham with no heat shield tends to teach you how to get out without a branding.

Out for an amble, looking for signs of mad pub debauchery, but instead found this wonderful tree.
No idea how old the tree is, but it will be there long after I and Tarka are gone.
There is some sort of natural affinity between trees and Morgans, I think.

So I parked Tarka and walked away, looking at the tree and then noticed the light on the curves of the front.
So I took this photograph.

Only looking closely did I see the abandoned trailer and other rubbish behind...
Oh well.

Good run, until the pollen hit....

I love your Plus 8. A great fight, in my brain, with Brian's one.

It looks like it is in camouflage mode under the tree and background.

Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.
