Looking forward visit Britain with a friend, my wife says today: let's have a journey with the "Spielzeugautochen" (difficult to translate).

Let's habe a glass of wine in the countryside. A great idea. A few kilometres/ miles out to Badenheim, visit a wineyard, have a a glass of wine and a great meal and than back home. The weather wasn't typical summer, but the best wife of all likes hod down.

We had a vinyard tour too.
Visiting Southern Styria in Austria as the Italian Tuscany seems to be out of reach this year.

Last week made the trip to AWSC to pick up my new (to me) +4 GDI. Good trip back but rain proved that hood rail leaks a lot. Get home to find the gear box cross member bolts ground on entry to my garage. Out with the DaveW book to find the work around for the leak. Neoprene ordered. Next day up un the ramp to sort the GB mounting bolts, just put them in from the bottom, instead of the top, solves the problem.
Good run out to Fylingdales on Saturday.
Here is the car and the offending bolts.

Made a seven hundred kilometre round trip to the seaside in the P4 and enjoyed the firm but comfortable ride which got me thinking that I would like the Roadster ride to be similar, so after three years I stiffened the rear Avo's by two clicks and transformed the ride. I I thought a lot about the difference whilst walking towards the largest sand dune in Europe at Pilat. There were lots of Ferraris Lambo's , Bentlys etc at Pilat but it was the Morgan that drew the attention and lots of people wanted to talk about it. Funny that.

170 mile round trip to Allon White to have sidescreens trimmed in leather. Quick trip both ways as the Cambridge area is now almost a pleasure to drive through.

Very pleased with the result and an excellent match to existing Yarwood Brooklands Magnolia. Nice 1972 Elan Sprint Coupe in the background, now sold.
