Lovely trip on Dartmoor today with quite a number of people being sensible it seemed. Some German and French tourists enjoying the area is good to see as we all get our lives back on track with some life affirming experiences once more. This was taken just above Ashburton and there are 4 mares (one heavily pregnant) and two young colts, the sea is to the horizon and with the naked eye one of the 2 laid up cruise liners were visible. ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2020/07/06/ash.jpg)

Nice pic Rich.
Went for a run up to Masham this evening. Good run made better because the pubs are open, would have been rude not to test one. The Bay Horse was all very organised, first pint in a pub for how many weeks?
Getting more used to the GDI now, its going well.

I'm embarrassed to say I had to look up Masham, I've been to Harrogate and loved the area and you've got some great drives up there. Good you got a pint too, we were going to have a quick one at Widecome in the Moor but not a place open at all, not sure what's going on there normally it's heaving this time of year.

Hows this for irony?
First drive out in over 12 weeks (different rules here in Wales) an I think I've picked up a speeding ticket!
Heading out of town, blind bend by industrial site and mobile camera van in wait. Must have been no more than 400m from 60 zone, looked at my speedo and it was showing about 35. Hopefully in 'tolerance ' but I'm expecting a Speed awareness course as a minimum!

There must have been a Le mans style start yesterday in Wales with motorhome owners , a local free beauty spot was occupied at 9.30 with three parked up for the day.Quite a few out on the b roads but you can't blame anyone really with the first more than 5 mile run out. Dale Broadhaven and St Ishmaels was the order of the day not as many as I expected a lovely run in the Mog.
