Me too it has something about it. Reminds me of the neolithic round tombs near Carnac & Ireland.

It reminded me of the Rondavel's we spent our late honeymoon in on our fortnight touring Kruger back in 1973, I can still smell the creosote they had treated the open beams with happy days.

Given how nice the day was we drove down to Languard Fort for a walk and an ice cream Perfect.

And of course the view of the docks was fun

Went to Trapp near Llandeilo to pick up a garden ornament. About 20 miles each way. Couple of miles on the end of the M4 then A, B, lanes to the farm. Great to be doing a few more miles and blow the cobwebs away.

Your car looks splendid Jon, where is that interesting looking building ?

Yes, as others have already found it, it's the David Mellor cutlery works, it's circular as it was hard to get planning approval in the Peak District, so it's footprint is as per the old gas accumulator tank that was there

Well worth a visit if you're in the area, you can have a tour of the works where they hand make some beautiful cutlery & bespoke commissions AND there's a great cafe too

Thanks Jon, when we get up that way will be sure to include it on the tea stops.

GRRC Club run today, 106 miles through Hants and Sussex - the first decent run out in the 4/4 this year. It started and finished at the Goodwood motor circuit. We had lunch at Northington Grange, an uninhabited property maintained by English Heritage.

Number One Son accompanied me as navigator and I let him drive the parade lap at the end of the day.

That looks a good run John, the size of that container vessel, we see a lot going by out of our window but the perspective is lost.
