I thought of wiring in DRL's but decided that the object t of the exercise is simply to be seen when driving so I fitted LED sides front and rear and always run with those on.

fitted 0.1 uF capacitor on vdo across yellow and black terminal on back of speedo cured 10 year old problem of speedo jumping cost 10p
