He certainly proved his dominance today. And Ferrari's woahs continue.

No doubt. The qualifying lap was right up there along with the best of Senna, Prost and others.

As for Ferrari, sad.

A very convincing win and really great racing going on at the front and right through the order, perhaps the break has fired them all up I can't remember seeing such close fought racing for quite some while.

Lewis is special and no doubt about it.

Lewis is certainly doing all he can to force Toto into giving him all the money he is asking for. As for Ferrari, least said soonest mended, disgraceful effort.

Here for a good time not a long time!!

Lewis provided a masterclass this past weekend, qualifying in the wet and racing in the dry.

It was interesting that he commented in the post race interviews that he would love a shorter season, with races every weekend.

I wonder if the previous weekend's performance was because he was a bit rusty, and needed a race to get back on form?

The Hungarian GP next weekend should be good. Hamilton won, by 17 seconds, last year. It would be good to see Ferrari back in the front part of the grid and not need parking sensors fitted.

Perhaps they should fit the lane departure assistance blobs in the mirrors for all of them!

I think that some of the complaints put in by other teams last year have eroded Ferrari's technical advantages resulting in them having to recover seconds. Certainly the progress of crafty design is being maintained with the adjustable steering mentioned on the AMG cars.

Very much on the up which is good to see.

There was a good article in Autocar on William recently talking about the way the sponsorship was biased and how the new programs coming in might make it a bit more even/interesting/more like a race.

/drift mode off.

I think my wife may switch from Ferrari to TeamFrozen if they can get the Unicorn into the cockpit?

OMG. I just did a google and found this site. I am not certain (given the title) if it is satire but in this modern world who really knows....

https://wtf1.com/post/disney-has-bought-formula-1-from-liberty-media-for-over-4-billion/

On top of the new circuit, Disney also has some ideas for how to ease the financial strain on the teams. As well as Liberty’s budget cap plan (which is still going ahead), Disney will also offer teams a $25 million grant per year if they become a ‘Disney Franchise’. The idea is that each team will be allocated a Disney film to represent throughout the season which the teams will promote and embrace each year. For instance, Ferrari’s red would be well suited to The Incredibles, Mercedes could be backed by Robin Hood (Silver Arrows, obviously), while the Williams cars could be decked out in images of Elsa and Anna, because their progress over the last few years has clearly been Frozen.

innocent
