To bring this sad thread to a close....news from the Colin Cruckshank, the MSCC SOGMOG Centre Secretary...
I'm sorry to have to announce the death of Andy Biddlecombe in a tragic car accident on Friday evening. Andy was driving his beloved 1966 +4 which came off the road on Portsdown Hill.
Many of the newer members will not have known Andy, but he was the co-founder of Sogmog in 1975 and a very long standing member of the MSCC (Membership number 96). I first met Andy when I joined Sogmog in 1984 and he was the Centre secretary. He was the driving force behind the centre through the 80s, always out and about in his beautiful car which he must have had for over 40 years.
My condolences to his family.
