That it is great paint job. We sent a pal up in a Spitfire a couple of weeks ago at Headcorn, it did give me some ideas for the Roadster but I am not that brave, plus it looks better on your 3 wheeler.

Great to see another very early one esp in such nice condition - you look to be like us with rare early Suplex shocks with lower ride height - agree with you ref gearchange position with a steering wheel spacer as we are both tall/long-legged...enjoy!!

Regarding the cover I hadn't noticed that (good spot - I was obviously caught up in the excitement ), I will check and if so get a replacement - I will also check for the neoprene.
I have seen the buyers guide, very helpful and along with the book by Peter Dron I felt quite armed with knoweldge - albeit KH were fantastic so everything I asked for had already been done on this one!

The battery is brand new, KH put it on for me. The rubber mats are another KH addition, as are the protectors either side and the rubber along the top that wasn't originally on early cars so this helps protect the paint and make refitting the Dzus slightly easier.. I also had the Garage56 Dzus springs fitted to help.

Chassis has all the reinforcements and so far looks fine, I will keep a close eye on it however..

Everything else has been done, so fingers crossed she is reliable and a good one!



It does have the chassis mods, I will keep an eye on it though as I know they can still crack.. eep!



Haha thanks for the compliment, took a lot of work but I feel I managed to capture a bit of a retro theme. I just need some old memorabilia and a petrol pump now to finish!



Now that is a compliment, I would imagine if I were to own such a large garage I would never leave it...!!



I did wonder about the shocks as a few mentioned different types, I shall have to double-check. I am sure I read somewhere that the Three Wheeler a certain Chris Harris drove (in Gulf livery) had early shocks on and it handled better than the revised ones, but I can't recall if they changed again or much detail about it..

My old Banner battery just replaced with Yuasa had plastic flaps that cover the terminals. I'd ask for them or at least arrange a cove over the positive terminal to avoid any sparks from fumbled metallic objects.

Looks good. I buy a 3 wheeler today if I had a place to store it , keep it safe when not using it.

I will keep a lookout for something - do they come with anything as standard?
