About a half year later...
My first problem was to find matching pieces of alloy. Found BIG pieces on monday and start to work with it.
All sizes cut by hand. Cooled by a beer.
Today I finished ready for a test fitting. GREAT! Now I look for matching metric screws and polish the material and final fittment.

Just fitted and in use for three month I enjoy the construction a lot of times.
At the weekend out for buy some bottle wine, the stay was a great help ;-). Also on the fast road trip. There we‘re on the the road with a hired Mog, clear without the stay - we miss it.

Just about to post the last of my Seven Hood Stay sets, thanks to Chris, and Register Member David Owens for a great idea providing another £300+ In Support of Combat Stress. Design Modified to suit my very limited skills. The old School Metalwork Training came in very handy after all. 🙂 https://www.facebook.com/Roadster100I did, at one stage, consider using one end of a Chrome Spanner as the Swivel Stay and attaching a simple Cylindrical Rod of spanner size attached to the hood. But this looks more professional.
