Went to give a 'Guard of Honour' to a car club pal who sadly passed away last week. Bloody weather was atrocious and I should have practised putting the hood up before I needed it!

RIP Vic - bet you were having a good old chuckle!

The Great Escape Gang made another break for freedom with Madmax leading us.
We met at the Two Magpies where I can confirm the bacon butties are very good. The picture shows my car parked outside the cafe car park as they built an anti Morgan ditch on the entrance (AKA a trench for some sort of cable with a 6 inch drop). I was the first there so it was fun watching Madmax, then Hawki & then Morganthefreeman drive to the car park & decide not to risk entry either.

From there it was a drive to Beccles , parking at the Tesco store to get an ice cream from Twyfords Cafe. Ice Cream

Then onto the Queens Head at Blyford for lunch. Madmax found an Adnams pub with no draught bitter!! Though there was a Landie hiding across the road.
The food was excellent and one of us had another ice cream. It wasn't me. guru somestick

Thanks Steve, I'll bear that in mind!
Meanwhile I put yesterday's trip in the car meet section, together with a brief description. Here's a copy of one photo:

Don't do anything rash Craig let things get back to at least a new normal before thinking about it.
There will be organised trips out coming up when more places open up.
A few of us have plans for a couple of nights and 3 visits in Somerset for October when they open up, come on down you would be welcomed. (Haynes, Yeovilton and The Hawk Conservancy) I will post a thread later on when things have opened and we can plan it properly.

One of the very few places where a Morgan is the wrong transport
[Linked Image]

Took me more than 8 hours in the tintop to get there.
Now I'm supporting Italian tourism.
