Trip up to Derbyshire and back via friends in Coalville. Another 200 mile day, in MINI. Forecast rain held off, apart from a light shower while sitting drinking tea in friend's garden! Same trip Thursday, but MINI will remain in Derbyshire.

Is MINI being replaced?
Or, are you becoming a 2 car household?

Should be more comfortable for silly longer runs like the one I did to Caister last week (it was good to catch up with John and a few other Morgan owners though). And it's a little taller so a trifle easier on the knees for entry/egress.

Nice sunny drive to Stonehaven this morning, hoped I’d see red three or Bervie1 but no, just swarms of lycracylas.

Ewn ... that's such a pretty car .... it enhances any view!

Used to visit Stoney monthly for meetings but not been since I retired.... forgotten how nice the harbour area is ....will add that to my list of drive-out destinations for when the car is finished.

Here’s a shot of the seafood takeaway on the pier, slimy things and creepy crawly crustaceans, not my taste but all fresh caught each day.

Ahh! ...the bustling metropolis of Boddam .... playboy capital of Buchan!! ... nightlife hasn't been the same since they silenced the Coo!

It’s okay Keith, I like Haddock so much, I’ve never felt the need to diversify.

As for Boddam, it keeps its beauty well hidden, the camera flatters in this case. For anyone interested, you can rent the cottage on the lighthouse island for a holiday, not a bad idea in current times.
