That’s the best I’ve seen yet

Looks nice, and even better that it work! I conclude from picture it does not combine wt headrest. I wonder if it would leave enough room for taller folk, like me, who need to recline seat very far back.

The headrests are usually fitted - only off for the photo. I have pushed the seat fully back, squashed against the roll bar, to get the photo, but normally they are only one notch further forward and the back of the headrests sit just touching the roll bar (so the roll bar is the limiting factor with the headrests fitted, not the wind blocker which is on the back of the roll bar. I'll get a photo with the head rests fitted tomorrow to show this. I am 6'2" (about 1.9m) and the seat settings are fine for me!
The only minor issue is reaching past the wind blocker to get "things" from the storage shelf behind the seats - seats need to be folded forward a bit further to get at the stuff back there (I have an easy-up hood). The velcro straps mean it can be removed and re-fitted easily and quickly - loosening the straps slightly allows the blocker to be slid up a little to give a bit more room to get at things behind the seats.
The velcro holds the blocker tight against the back of the roll bar so there is no rattling or squeaking at any speed.
The only thing I would do differently would be to have slightly tinted acrylic to minimise the reflections when the sun is at a particular angle - the reflections don't block the view through the rear view mirror - just a minor annoyance and only when the sun is at a certain angle to the car. I think a slight tint would reduce the reflections a little.
Suggest make up a cardboard template to see if it will work for your preferred seat position - the template can then be taken to a plastic fabricator to make up an acrylic version.

Following on from last night's post - images of the wind blocker with the seat headrests attached - the headrests are up against the roll bar, so the acrylic doesn't affect the position of the seats.

I might have a go at that option. I have my driver’s seat right back and lowered so the headrest goes under the Librands bar. I’ll test bringing the seat forward a notch to see how I feel. It’s a shame the windbreaker I have won’t fit as it is well made with mesh not solid solid. It worked well when fitted before adding the rollbar.
What thickness material did you use?

I used 5mm acrylic.
Maybe consider adding extra blocks of acrylic at the points where it attaches to the bar as spacers to move the blocker back from the roll bar to allow the head rests to fit where you usually have them? Would only need an extra 10 to 15 mm I guess.
Would be interested to see how you get on!

By the way - if you have a full tonneau cover, make sure you don’t extend the bottom edge too low the cover needs to pass under the blocker and over the seat backs!

Ken, thanks for the additional info and reassuring it works for you. I have about same height, so this could very well be an option for me. Do I understand your roll bar fits under the the easy up?
Post Corona I hope to do a bit more longer distance travelling with my wife, this may make it a bit more comfortable. Does this roll bar come at the cost of laggage space?

The roll bar fits under the easy-up and doesn't affect the luggage space as it is bolted to the top of the wheel arches, not to the floor of the luggage space. That is the case for my 2003 +8 - not sure how the roll bar is fitted to other models, but I would imagine it is the same. Best to check with Librands!
