I carry two inner tubes for the front tyres. And this after your advice long ago in another post. Because, as you say, the repair is easy for any motorcycle workshop, but the size is unusual so they won't have it on the shelves...

It doesn't seem to make a noticible difference to the balance of the fronts, however when I had new tyres I had to have new tubes as well as the electronic balancer couldn't handle it.

when changing a tire you should always have two tubes.... it you only have one, you will pinch it and ruin it... if you have two, you will not pinch it
