Morning all,

Just to let you know a few weeks ago - I sold my Roadster. In the intervening time - I have looked at various cars and considered an Aero and briefly thought of a new PlusFour (but ultimately don't enjoy 4 cylinder cars).

I must admit - when I was selling the Roadster the PlusSix was top of my list, however, the "hype" around this car has really put me off (and the Insurance Quote!).

I have therefore just purchased a Porsche 911 - it is lovely thing...

I have thoroughly enjoyed the time in the Morgan community and 99% of Morgan owners and forum members are very "true" people - thanks for a great time. I may "lurk" from time to time but will not contribute too often.

You won't be let out of side turnings nearly as often with the Porsche as with the Morgan!

I would not care to argue with the statement that "Variety is the spice of life"... (-: It seems there are already Porsche owners and/or fans on here, thus Porsche talk is not forbidden or even frowned upon that I have noticed, and some here might be very interested in your thinking of possible ownership comparisons between two very different automotive concepts..?

Whatever... I hope you enjoy your change in direction.... There is always a road back...if folk ever let you out at the junctions..

I think the only Porsche that could bring me as much driving pleasure as my Morgan 4/4 is a 356 Speedster. But I wish you much fun in your 911...

Oh no I forgot about the Morgan junction priority rule....however, I drive a BMW so I am used to sitting for hours at junctions, whilst other road users "stare" into the distance!!

Mark, just because you have left the Morgan world ( a thing I have done on 3 different occasions but you get pulled back ) it doesn't mean you can't still join in. The chaps on here are really nice and full of interest so do continue to contribute when you feel able. As for buying a Porker, I hope it's a very bright colour as you will never find it otherwise as everyone has one.
