Replacement Regulator/Rectifier now fitted and working. To be honest the job was a relative delight, the bobbin contraption is now gone and the new unit bolts straight into place with two socket head screws and connects up to the stator’s existing plug. The only mod was a larger crimped terminal onto the output wire at the battery end.
