Which, in the case of my 35 y.o. 4/4, is actually very useful! grin2

But a timepiece will also be very useful (when I'm not running a SatNav).

Cheers,

I completely agree, first for the hour displayed (isn't it it's purpose ? doh ) and second for the look it offers, the dashboard is IMO nicer with a clock love

What I do like is that there is no wiring so no way for making the battery goes down so you can drive when you want without thinking about the power of the battery drive

BTW can it be opened without descrewing it ???

Anyway your dashboard is very nice like this happy3

Swan....the clock slips out of the dash casing which is screwed to the dash. The back of the clock pops off to access the battery.

That looks far too easy. Methinks I'll have to treat my mog to one.

Hi,
Swan, the consumption of the clock is absolutely negligible (look at how long it lasts in a cheap watch with a so little battery). If you clock is not electrically plugged, the disadvantage is that you don’t have illumination when you turn the light on, so you cannot read the time at night.

I'd like to share a warning about the "original" clock.

I ordered a clock on my 2008 +4. Unfortunately, the proximity of the clock to the nearside dash fasting screw made the walnut dash crack during the first year. A tiny hairline crack goes from the screw to the clock. A new walnut dash was provided under warranty, but given that all instruments actually work on my car and the crack is tiny, I decided to save the new dashboard for future use.

I find the clock nice and the price ok love, you could also cut out the dash, but with 1 screw it what ease to fit

Mine arrived today, but they have sent the black faced one instead of the cream face. It's on the way back, but make it clear on your order if you want the cream faced version.
