You need a test centre which can do both class 3 and class 4.

I had a list but it's 2018 so maybe a bit out of date - however others near you were:

I downloaded the CSV file and then filtered on stations who handle both class 3 and 4.

Rightly or wrongly, it will be whatever class that comes up against its registration number on the MOT system. Mine appears to be class 3 and I have had class 4 test centres refuse to do it once they checked the number.

I did try Aldershot first of all but they have now changed their ramps and cited that as a reason they couldn’t do it.

I remember them fondly from taking my Harley ( Heritage Springer Softail) there for an MOT many years ago. A LOT of chrome and leather and white, the model was on the centre spread of a big book about the history of HD’s. I drove it in and retired to the waiting room for a coffee. Before the machine had filled the cup a guy came in and told me it had passed. I said “that was quick” to which he replied “they had been too frightened to touch it”!

I had Piaggio MP3, its classed as bicycle but with 2 close coupled front wheels. A bike test station refused as it had 3 wheels & would not budge.

Hi Chris, out of those only Phillips of Wormley still has the capability but sadly they were booked solid up to the 20th, so I went for Harewood Garage Andover.

And I hope it passed ?

Booked in for the 17th August. It was meant to be the 4th April but got extended to October, but it might rain in October.
