Well can't you just reduce the exhaust baffles. At least that is what I did on the Griff many year ago. They just cut the silencer , changed the baffles and welding them back . Sounds like a bodge as I write this ,but it did work Cheers Andy

Hi Harry,
Have you tried speaking to Hayward and Scott? They are probably your best bet for bespoke exhaust work. Having just bought an Aero S1, I may be interested in your side exit system but I'm assuming that it's from your S2 and therefore won't fit?
Strangely, the car I bought was advertised as having a Sports Exhaust but having now driven it a bit, it seems far too quite and I'm convincing myself that it is just standard. It has single oval tail pipes.

As for Shooteer, the Librands 4 exit (as seen on my old S1) is my favourite - I prefer the sound to the sidepipes. This is an unconventional view - most prefer the sidepipes!
Carrying on a thread in the for sale section (where I want to sawp my sidepipes for a Librands or similar), does anyone know a reputable company in the south east who can do exhaust work? As suggested by you lot, getting an engineer to tune the sound to my preferences may be a better alternative than replacing... Harry, Kin got his side pipes worked on and ended up with a much deeper more permanent 'woofle' and less of a bark. PM him for details?
Cheers

It's actually probably the Works sports exhausts if it has single oval tips Culminator, I had one like that fitted to my Series I and loved the sound though I agree it was not particularily loud!

Aha, thanks Aeroman, that would make sense as I don't have a sepaerate receipt for a sports exhaust. I'll check the build sheets.
Cheers Mike

Agree - I had the same exhaust on my S1 - was quieter by far compared to the S2 side exits or the double barreled sports exhaust option on the S1 - but a beautiful sound...

Perfect boshers - will do: especially as I like the look of the sidepipes a lot!

Hello Harry, received your pm message, its probably best if I posted out here for all to see. Aeroman also had the same system, needless to say I was extremely happy with it, it had a deeper bass note, but on part throttle, its also quite as well. Anyway, here's the link.. http://www.talkmorgan.com/ubbthreads.php/topics/7990/Side_pipe_exhaust#Post7990
