Went to Sutton Hoo as we are volunteering again though only out side. A great run in stunning 30+c weather.

My old flatmate (and fellow Ship Scientist) Paul Handley is the Naval Architect recruited by the Sutton Hoo Ship's Company project to build a working replica of the Sutton Hoo Viking Longship. If you ever come across him when you're up there volunteering, say hi to him from me.

For the sailors amongst you, Paul is best known as the designer of the RS performance dinghies, and the Mustang 30 Cruiser Racer.

Did you get stuck in the roadworks. Julie went to the shops at Martlesham and got caught in a huge tailback

Yes it was a tractor lost it's load by Tescos.

Rich maybe I need some kurust laugh2 The actual helmet was a rusted mess of 296 bits when found the sculpture is meant to reflect this.

I also saw a blue Mog reg L544 ??? driven a lady near Newbourne heading for Woddbridge on the way back.

Yes & before last year it was raised between the eaves of the exhibition hall so you couldn't really appreciate it.
