I've been considering fitting a folding screen and Brooklands Screens to my Sport but John at Heart of England tells me that as the 9 stud screen surround has more tapered uprights, this is not possible without fiddling around with spacers etc.
I've seen some Sports with folding screens so there must be a neater solution; has anyone got any ideas?

Don't bother unless your racing it (then you'd take it off anyway), you drive it with the screen folded once, think bugger that and never use it again.

Why do you want a folding screen?
For racing /trackdays needs to be removed (very heavy)
In an accident when folded it becomes a dangerous missile
If you want an aerodynamic advantage on track get an aeroscreen for track use only.
If you use either on road you are putting yourself at serious risk of an eye or head injury from flying debris from other vehicles unless you wear a helmet.

Hi Jay, As I am an 'open faced' biker myself, I can understand your interest in ditching the screen, but have you thought of trading the Sport for a M3W instead ?...save all the hassle of 'modding your mog'

Hi NM...if I'd known about the M3W when I bought my 4/4 in March I could have been tempted! But modding?.......surely thats all part of the fun!!

Hi NM...if I'd known about the M3W when I bought my 4/4 in March I could have been tempted! But modding?.......surely thats all part of the fun!! Yep..I agree with both of those points.  Re: the M3W....the more I read and see about the M3W the more I REALLY want to try one out....but would I swap the Sport for the (much) less practical three wheeler...can't quite see it happening. I could consider selling a bike or two to justify the idea of having both Morgans..

I run the +4 most of the summer with the screen down. I wear goggles up on the expressways but not around town. I reluctantly erect the glass when the rains come. I tried Brooklands, but didn't think they were worth the trouble or the clutter. It is one of the great benefits of owning a Morgan IMHO
