The size of the Cotter Pin used with the castellated nut that retains the hub on a 1980's stub axle. It's just I need to adjust the bearings and I don't want to take the pin out and find I haven't got a replacement

The cotter pin on my stub axle is 1.25” long by 1/8” thick. I believe that’s 31.75 mm by 3.175 mm. They measure from the base of the eyelet to the end of the shorter leg.
Mine is a 1966 Plus 4, but I’m guessing they’re probably the same. Maybe others know if that’s true.

If you struggle with getting out your old Cotter pins, check out the advice people gave me on my thread on the subject, here: Hub cotter pinsThe two most important pieces of advice I can give on that are: 1. The cotter pin does not need to come out in one piece. Don't hesitate to break off the eyelet and remove it in 2 pieces 2. Persistence rules the day. -N
