Wish I could say the same! Mine arrived this morning and on fitting noticed that the driver side rubber was overlapping the screen, so I trimmed 1/8 inch off and it just about cleared. Then on full arc, they were all fouling the bottom frame of the screen, the middle one by a good 10mm. So I adjusted all the arms on the splines as much as possible so that they park a little lower, and that has improved but still not perfect.
I notice that these “ 7 inch “ blades actually measure 7 3/8 inches! If only they were 7 inches the issue would be resolved but it is not possible to cut the fouling ends any shorter.
Maybe this is yet another Morgan thing but would be interested to see how others get on?

Lucky you, no way would my driver side sit like that, even with the rubber cut back to the metal.. (Like so many others, I still can’t get my head around posting photos on this site) Although you don’t show the position at the other end of the sweep , I guess you have no issues with frame bashing either?
I think it must be a Morgan thing. Looking back through threads, it seems to be a perennial issue to which there simply is no hard and fast solution. Maybe it’s why Morgan have continued with their cheap and crappy blades as it is easy to simply lop a bit off!
Agree with you on quality of these new ones and would also note that supply and delivery service from Peter was excellent.

If the blades foul the upper or lower edges of the screen,you can fix it in the following ways:
1. Cut down the blades a little, but really you do not gain much.
2. Get telescopic wiper arms from CarBuilderSolutions, shorten them so much that the blade doesn't foul the upper edge of the screen.
3. If the blade now fouls the lower edge, you must lessen the sweep angle by changing the wiper motor gear, also available from CBS among others.
By combining 2 and 3 I managed to fit CBS 8" blades. I had to change from 135 to 105 degree sweep angle, though. Could have used 110, perhaps even 115.

no frame bashing either. I also know MMC cut out the holes for the bevel boxes (I assume by hand as mine are a pigs breakfast) so maybe on yours they are slightly off.

Thanks Robbie for your very helpful advice.. As it’s a lower edge problem, it appears that a change of motor gear is the only effective solution as with these new blades, it is not possible to shorten that end without compromising the integrity of the blade.
I see motor gears are £21.60 so will check my existing one first and go from there.
Edit: Having now removed the cover from the wiper mechanism, there is no angle stamped. Trying to measure the angle traversed by the actual blades is hit and miss as there is some slop in the mechanism. The best I could do seemed like 150 degrees but that seems too large. So, rather than waste more money on putting right what should have been done right in the first place...I will put up with it, in the Morgan style to which many owners are sadly accustomed to!

Deejay, the important thing is not what gear you have, but what you need. My gear was stamped, as I wrote 135 degrees. That one fouled the lower edge, even with the OEM blades. Anything around 150 is far too much. So after some measuring with a protactor I found out that 105 was appropiate. And it was - no fouling with the 8" blades. It could have been 110 or maybe even 115. Anyway, what you loose with a smaller sweeping angle is swept area on the passenger side - not as important as for the driver obviously. And you can compensate for that by fitting the wiper arms on the splines so that they do not park flush with the lower edge, but some degrees above it. Thus they reach more over to the passenger. My car is a Roadster 2004, 105 works good enough, 110 would be a tad better. I do not think your car has a different screen, so you will most likely manage. It will be a few quid: three wiper blades, three telescopic arms, one gear. For me, definately worth it, I live in a rainy part of Norway and the OEM blades are pure rubbish. As for the gear, Leacy might be a bit cheaper than CBS, but I do not think they have the arms. CBS has a link to Youtube in their ad, how to change wiper motor gear.

So I would have ordered 110 - and if that turns out to be too much I would have said what the hell and then ordered 105. I would have lost 22 £, but as we say in Norway: it's a sausage in the slaughtering season....
