That drives me Mad.
I have to get fixed my kardan tunnel cover because its original so worse made.
The Only grub srew i see is there.
But when i took this out there where also no way to get the piece off.I just done it to get the cover away
and have a btter view on the knob. But this also doest work. ARGH!!!

No way i am not finding any grub srews. I looked with a mirrow also in the know from down. nothing!

Sorry to read that Dani, that’s a new one to me as every other one is a grub screw fix to a square lever, maybe yours is threaded??

so maybe its not Original. May i have to take the hole shifting lever assambly out to get the pieces Repaired.
If its so, then i can not recoment this shifter assambly.

Have you tried loosening the lower grub screw in your last photo? Looks like that may hold the polished (looks aluminium) lever in place? Might you be able to loosen that screw and see if it lifts off the square section?

y tried it but its so hard in. It seems taht ithas also some rubber with in to damp vibration.
For sure if y will use a prybar it will maybe come off.
i am just wondering why it is so complicate.
Maybe it is the only solution to get the stick off.

I think the grubscrews are there but hidden under the knob. Now that you have unscrewed the lower collar, grip the threaded part firmly but without damaging threads and unscrew the knob from the threaded part. That should then expose the grubscrews in the threaded portion as the knob is unscrewed upwards.

I guess i hve to take the hole stick off and than maybe there is a screw then in the hole of the aluminium piece.
But anyway also its nearly impossible to get the stick off. I tried with a bar but its just moving a little bit and not coming off.

It looks exactly like mine, which was also very tight when I first removed it. I wrapped the threaded portion in some thin rubber and held it in mole grips. The top knob is simply screwed on to the threaded portion and if it has been screwed down too far will be tight and also cover the grubscrews or it may have been installed with the grubscrews at the top of the threaded portion. If so, you have to get the knob off first.. Try wrapping the knob with some thin rubber as well and give it another go. Some mechanical grips on the knob as well might help or maybe a spray of wd40 up inside the knob.

Doug is correct. The knob unscrews in two pieces. You need to grip both halves separately. I used a rubber oil filter wrench that could grip the knob whilst holding the bottom section with Grips. once this is removed the grub screws are underneath holding the knob to the gear stick.
