It was supplied by my dealer who fitted it before I took delivery. Not sure who their source is, but if you contact Dennis Glavis at Morgan West in Santa Monica, California I am sure he can get you one. I like it better than the factory pretend straps, although you do have to unbuckle it to remove the hood/bonnet. It’s a beautiful strap with a felt backing, and really adds something to the looks.

Perhaps someone here knows the actual source of these?

I can measure the pieces when I get home mid-September. Currently escaping the desert summer on the California coast, and I don’t have a tape measure with me. Sorry.

Thank you JohnMat. Your lights look great, low and mean. I will see what I can do with my creativity. I did get the Marchel 810s. I have studied the parts book wire harness diagram. I have looked in the fuse box area and found the 5Amp fused intercom. I found one always on 12v empty plug, and 2 switched 5v empty plugs. I could not find the switched 12v empty plug. Maybe not looking hard enough. I am assuming my car has the electric fan as a retro fit, so maybe they used that 12v switched that I cant find for this? Was there a link for the switch and relay used? I am new to this forum, found lots of info, but I am still bumbling around. I assume I could use the always on plug and just remember to turn on and off.

Hey rockabilly john. I had to take a look at your fog light install, very cool. Trying to get this set up on mine as daytime runners. I noticed you had bikes and guitars, and single malt. Ha. We should chat one day. I ride, and play...I promise I am not a stalker.

Hi CoopDeFeet

I wired mine into a new relay that I attached to the bulkhead next to the fuse box. I ran a wire into the heated seats circuit on fuse 20 to control the relay, as this circuit comes on with the ignition (on recent builds at least), and ran a couple of new wires to the battery with an in-line 10A fuse on the positive wire to avoid any further changes to the existing wiring. I then ran a cable to the front of the frame, where it meets wires from the fog lamps, with Delphi connectors each end so I can disconnect as needed. Didn’t see the need for a switch, the lights just come on with the ignition so I don’t have to remember to turn them on or off. Covered all the wires with split loom tubing and attached them with lots of cable ties.

Sounds like I know what I’m doing when I write this now, but I just slowly figured this out over a few weeks of googling. First time I’ve done any auto wiring.

John
