Hopefully Morgan will address the issue of the wires. I doubt they would allow an upgrade without being sure the rest of the car could take the added stress (at least I hope that's the case!).

I used to feel the same as you about the added width. But now I have seen a beautiful black Roadster Sport in the flesh, I don't mind it so much. The whole effect was quite majestic.

The sump is a worry though.

The new Increased Performance Roadster with side pipes and increased front end width that Phil Ledgerwood brought to Waddesdon must have been assembled by the factory. Could this be a prototype for the upgrade you are all talking about? It was priced a £59950. idea

MMC has alwast altered the ECU's
due to the lightweight character of the trads/aero's

I wouldn't be surprised that a little downtune will be on the ToDo-list

damn: it DOES look goooooooooood:

Actually I'm pretty sure that traditionally the MMC haven't altered the ECUs from standard. That certainly is the case with the +8s

Damn. I hope it's not going to be £59,950. That would price me out. I agree that it looks good.

Regarding the "ponycar´s" hp´s: the american 307 hp are SAE-hp!!! oldgit

So just measured "seriously" there will be a "downtune" in "DIN-figures" by some 12-15% - let´s at least TRY to be a little patient... (I myself can´t! scared Can anybody?? confused2)

And: i don´t suppose that Ledgerwoods Roadster is a "factory prototype" - the front lower grille is available through MMC as a kit, as the sidepipes are. flag

But that lil´ beast DOES look nice in deed! thumbs

It doesn´t matter how fast it becomes, but how it becomes fast. laugh2

I agree. I saw this car at Phil' place last time I was over. He's also got a Zurallic Blue Roadster, but I reckonn that Zurallic Green would look good.
The engine is 3L and the sidepipes are Phil's mods. I don't like the noise.

By the way if I ever get in the zone to spec a new one I think I'll go for sunshine orange - Phil has the 06 motor show car in stock now and it looks great.
