I can't really add anything to that above. I too have have been hit by the dreaded white van man, it did write off my car (but thankfully i was driving a company saloon at the time) and although it was terribly time consuming and a perishing nuisance, all came good in the end.
I got a nice new car, my neck pains subsided over time , and I could even laugh about it after a while. Hope it is the same for you.

Oh John! What bad luck, wrong place at wrong time. I was hit by white van man some years ago, thankfully it was in a Merc. and not the Mog.
Hope it gets sorted quickly.

John, really sorry to see the damage to your Roadster, hope it's not too difficult for a decent Mog specialist to sort, do hope you can find some alternative transport for your trip up 't north

Well I got back from volunteering at Sutton Hoo to have a good look. The inner valance on the passenger side is split so I think the whole cross head has moved right. The drivers side tyre leans out . I suspect this will be a long job.

Commiserations John, on the positive side as all have said no one was damaged other than perhaps a bruise or two, I do hope you manage to get things sorted soonest and with minimum possible fuss..

So do I . So far Headley told me the insurer (Hiscox ) would call today. They haven't so Headley have a missive in their inbox to get on with it. I hope red wine will help.
I shared the crash pictures with a mate in S Africa . He showed me photos from today of a lorry carrying stone down the M way crashing into his factory near Joburg airport.

Like others have said at least no one was hurt...and the van driver stopped. I only saw you the other day going the opposite way to me on the A14.

Sorry to read about the van crashing into your lovely roadster, this is so frustrating. Hope insurance matters can be resolved quickly and the repair is carried out with care!
