Yes they did have the heated screen and wires come out in the middle of the dash which meant that you had to disconnect the wires to fold the screen so we never folded ours down as didn’t want to break the wires.

Yes, they do have a heated screen and they come with extended wires

My understanding is with the A pillars you can't get folding screen to handle the heated screen easily.

Hi John,

I have a 70th anniversary and, just like my previous 4/4, have slight gaps at the screen ends. I did a bit of preemptive with some rubber strip and don’t have a leakage problem. However, I did have quite large gaps between car and sidescreens letting in both water and draughts so again made neoprene wedges to suit.

Regarding the screen, mine is electric and no disconnection necessary to lower it, but bit of a technique required to both lower and raise.

If you feel you need to know anything before buying and maybe I can help feel free to pm me.

Incidentally, has it got wire wheels?

Just as an aside - I hope you don't mind John, we came home last night in a veritable deluge, roof up but side screens off and were amazed at how dry we were. Admittedly the rains coming straight down but were were moving through it. My left arm of my jacket was slightly damp that's all. I think that you'll be fine.

Any chance of some pictures. I am guessing it has the old style A pillars.

Above are some pictures of the foldingscreent mounted to the 4/4 70th anniversary models. There is no special leakage because of the folding mechanism.

No. I have steel wheels with hubcaps.
