Hi Guys,

It has been a while hasn't it? Despite tough quarantine/lock down in my country I'm please to report 3000 km without any issues since I took delivery of my 3 wheeler in January of this year and while this has been an amazing journey so far one thing needs to change: The bonnet fasteners.

I made the mistake to stick to the "base" ones and I cannot wrap my head around how the work. I always get 3 out of 4 on the first go but the last one always isn't aligned and I have to start from scratch. It once took me 30 minutes to get it closed. Is there a DIY solution to this?

I also noticed that one of the screws that holds the air filter cap is damaged and needs to be replaced. Would you fine folks have an idea where I can purchase a spare one?

Would you also happen to know if anyone does custom leather work for the car? I'd love to change the bonnet strap and the dash trim piece to tan leather.

Here's the blue devil on a quick stint

The Garage 56 spring system makes the Dzu fasteners of the bonnet much more reliable and easy to use - we have had them since the came out 6 or 7 years ago

Use a clothes peg to keep the fasteners retracted when refitting the bonnet, does same job as the G56 springs. Sometimes one will be misaligned but it certainly helps.
