Bob Monkhouse was such a repository of fantastic jokes. Amongst my favourites is
"When I first said I wanted to be a comedian, everybody laughed. They're not laughing now." A proper gag. Used in the Joker film Yes, brilliant. It also appeared in his last television appearance which I think was called ' Bob Monkhouse - Last Stand'. A very poignant programme involving an invited audience of budding comedians who are household names now, and made after his diagnosis with terminal cancer. I am not sure whether this programme can be found anywhere but it crops up on the Beeb from time to time.

could you edit your avatar, move the black blobs to obscure the guys face.
At the moment the black blobs spoil a really nice pair of boobs....

More to the point, if Vladimir has seen it on one of his visits to TM, I'd advise you to always don rubber gloves before you touch the door knob when you get home.
