Morning all,
I've been trying to find a diagram of the `gdi engine so that `I can see where the sender is located. ~I don't have the engine to hand so wondered if those familiar with the `gdi could offer advice.
`thank you.

Here I am... I shall be replacing the clock on my new gdi with an oil pressure gauge. I have the gauge but need to order the sender and a T piece. The T piece allows you to retain the warning light as well as the gauge.
It's located just to the right of the oil filter and runs close to the block so precise figment is needed to avoid it fouling. I'll put up some photos when I get a chance tomorrow.

Good morning Steve,
Thank you for your response. It is my intention to move the clock and do as you intend with an oil pressure gauge so any info from you will be welcome. Did you source a Smiths gauge too?

Yes I have the smiths gauge, also changed the bezel to the V profile which matches the existing dials better, again from Holdens.

Steve, can you recall which exact product you used? I really fancy the idea of adding both an oil pressure and volt-meter gauge to my GDI, but find it very important to have matching bezels / looks on the dashboard. So I checked Holden and found these two instruments - what do you think?

Oil Pressure Electrical Gauge

Voltmeter

I was less successful in finding the factory-matching bezels... can you please help?

Hi, that looks like the one I used, but I’ll dig out the invoice and find the part number for you to make sure.

Holdens were able to supply a ‘full V’ profile bezel which was pretty close to the others fitted rather than the standard 1/2 V one.

Will check and come back,

Regards.

Ok I have part numbers (Holdens) ..

Bezel is 52mm Full V Rim 070.152

Gauge was 070.006

Adaptor was 1/4" x 18 NPT 070.026

Sender was 1/8" NPTF 070.185

Hope it helps.
