Remember, all the schools are going back now....

I had overlooked that, our local schools go back on the 8th with the 7th being a non pupil day.
In normal times this weekend would be the busiest of the year in Dartmouth as it's Regatta week but this year is a very muted affair with it being cancelled altogether.

We're back on Tuesday, with kids back on Thursday (need a couple of days to get the multitude of new 'systems' nailed down).

Some friends 'oop north' are back already.

Take care when you get back in there, you boys and girls are very much in the frontline now.

Drove back to Surrey last evening in the rain and was pleased to discover that our hood is watertight. This was my first trip in heavy rain, I was apprehensive about leaks and also whether the wipers would do the job. All fine.
BHM did a nice job and the car drives better and better as the miles clock up, 8200 now. I took the A25 rather than the M25 to avoid the heavy spray and boredom.

A trip to Lytham Hall, at the seaside resort of Lytham not far from me. Decent weather so didn't get the chance to try my new wiper blades!

Hi Rich

Initially the Tribars came with LED bulbs in them but the cheap Chinese? versions. Full beam was very good but the dipped beam cut off poor. I had some Philips Extreme Vision H4 bulbs so I've changed the LEDs and put the Philips Extreme Vision in which are good and should pass the MOT next month.

If I did much (any) night driving I would fit decent quality H4 LED upgraded bulbs from Classic car LEDs which are around £58.00 a pair. These have Philips chips and the filament in the correct place so that there's a decent dipped beam which is the most important to me.

Classiccar LEDS

BTW Craig these are what you should fit on swmbo car

Ive also upgraded the sidelights to Classiccar LEDS bright white sidelight bulb rather than the 'candle in a jar' 5w standard.

Rob, thanks for that information I have always thought they looked classy but there have been mixed views on here regarding light output.
You seem to have found a way through the "bulb" issue very successfully so that's great information for anyone considering going down that route, thanks again.

Welsh coastal tour continues, VERY windy today & extreme caution on the single track lanes, as I'm usually greeted by a huge 4x4 barreling over a blind crest

Some striking geological features & choppy sea whipped up by onshore winds

Take it easy on those roads Jon. Whatever the Welsh tell you, Sheep don't look good as bonnet mascots!
