The waverley has no clutch the both wheels turn the same time solely reliant on the rudder making close quarter manouvering a bit of a nightmare even in calm conditions i would have thought. I don,t suppose you can stick it in reverse very quickly either.

I would imagine anything slower than a fast walking pace given the size of the rudder there would be no steerage whatsoever.
