So one more "happy" customer to add to the cracked tank brigade. Fortunately no fuel leaks yet, and also something found during end of season servicing so should not lose quality road time. Still, I find Morgans design of gas tank mounting/support to be utterly ridiculous. BTW-my car has about 9k miles.

Looks like you've caught it in time Bitsobrits. The cracks are no worse than the ones on my car before I addressed the issue. My recommendation would be to bond in reinforcing plates as described somewhere in the distant past on this thread. Oh, AND tighten your straps!

Left hand tank plywood base is soaked in gas. 😢😢😢😢😢😢
