There has been a massive industry fleecing parents with gimmicky crap that kids love. A lot of it has been around Unicorns doe some reason. We have a late 20's sales lady in the office with a young child. The amount of pink unicorn related stuff that Amazon delivers to the office to take home for her daughter is stupfying. Of course this never happened in our childhood (who said slinky, action man, mousetrap etc etc etc etc etc etc). It is almost as totally blanketing that I began to think Unicorns were real.
As said above - entitled, demanding, expecting, I want my Unicorn and I damn well expect it now. (stamps foot, snorts glares at you).
(If I keep this up then I could apply for a role as stadler or waldorf in the next series of the muppets)
