Short run from Perth to Crieff then up through the Sma' Glen. Thanks James. She managed the whole run at 30mph with zero fuel although that may have been the latest electrical fritz! As Gordon said though the cracking day did make me forget about that!

A nice run in the New Forest this afternoon.
I looked at the odometer and thought that it hadn't increased much in the last 12 months, so I checked.
Based on MOT data I drive 4000 to 5000 miles a year in the Plus 8.
This year barely 2000.
All down to the summer lockdown and the cancellation of virtually all organised events. Log Mog has just cancelled a run because of the new "rule of 6", the Committee were worried that an organised run of 30 cars would be seen as illegal.
Over reaction? Perhaps, but with a £10k fine possible why risk it.
We can only hope next year is closer to normal, but I'm not convinced it will be.
30 cars well spaced no more than three cars to a group park in the corners of a car park and opposite centres talk via zoom or whatever on your fangled mobiles or laptops, creative obeyance of the law

As I understand it, so long as every car has a game bird, a gun dog and a 12 bore on board, it’s OK up to 30 people.
