Your car looks really good, John! I also like the black leather strap over the aluminium bonnet. Especially in the first pic. Normally I don't care about leather straps, but with your car it looks fantastic and very fitting.

BTW, have you described anywhere how you experience engine power? And anyway, your driving impression compared to the 3.0 in all possible aspects, acceleration, sound, weight balance, steering feel etc. The 3.7 must go like hell! The last very powerful traditional model.

A journey into Aberdeen to visit mother in law then No1 son. Stopped in past pitmedden gardens, a NTS property on the way.
Not looking as spectacular this year due to the gardener's being furloughed in the spring I suspect but still worth a visit.

No annuals this year.

Topiary still looking neat though

327 Miles today in the Plus 4. Down to Broadway, there at 0900. Quiet and pleasant. Took our own breakfast.

Then down to the Fosse traffic lights at Cirencester. Back up through Bibury, which was packed with tourists, and Burford, also packed with tourists.

The road from Bibury, which is a fantastic road to blat, was ruined by the Sunday drivers who excel at 38mph in a 60 limit, and never overtake.

Five cars ahead was what might have been a maroon Plus 8, but we never got close enough to see. We dodged Stow for obvious reasons. A grand day out. Two Frogeyes, an Alvis, Two Caterhams, loads of Mx5's but nothing else other than processions of SUVs innocent

Dave,
yesterday on the Cotswold Classic Burford & Bourton on the Water were hell holes. You did the right thing.

Two days ago we followed recommended routes from John V6 and BuyBritish (thanks again) through Derbyshire past Strines Rest on to Yorkshire. We stopped briefly at Haworth and made our way on B roads to Harrogate. A lovely drive on quiet roads. That said we had to take evasive action as others hogged the middle of the road or sped around blind bends, surprised to find a beautiful car in their sights. I notice the slight delay as other drivers are surprised by a Morgan, it makes the experience just a little more hairy.

A hack down to Lincoln from Harrogate over the Humber Bridge and a fast run down the A15. Staying in the Old Palace Hotel in the shadow of Lincoln Cathedral parked among the big Audis, Mercs and M5 Beemers. Our Mog looks tiny in this company.
The A1034 from Market Weighton to SOuth Cave is a delight and the run in on the Ermin Way was also rapid and clear. A great day in the saddle.

In Harrogate looking ready for the day, it rained last night clearing before we set off.

You'll find a lot of lovely architecture and design in Glasgow, always played 2nd fiddle to Edinburgh but unjustified IMHO.
And very friendly people too.

If you are going to Glasgow The Burrell collection is well worth a visit, it'll get you a few Brownie points too.

Touring with my mate Derek who is a patron of the Wetherspoon collection but will see how we are fixed for time, lockdowns not withstanding - cheers, will take a look.
