Given Gambalangas post earlier and being as I have no knowledge of Italian rules (I would if I went though) I don’t doubt him then I beg to differ.
"Caesar's wife must be above suspicion"
The current rules in Italy are that you do not have to wear a mask in the open unless you are near other people (except someone who lives in the same house) or in a closed public space: office, shop, hotel, etc. You can remove the mask in a restaurant or bar provided you maintain social distance, and the service providers must sanitise tables etc.
A quick search on Mr Google reveals many pictures of her socialising contrary to the rules.
I am of course jumping to the conclusion that the people in that image and the others on t’internet are not all part of her household Unless I'm missing something, according to the Italian Ministry Of Health this household business doesn't apply to travellers.

Masks must be used in the community setting in closed places that can be accessed by public, including public transport, and all the time when it is not possible to guarantee social distancing. Starting August 17, it is also mandatory to wear a face mask even outdoors, from 6pm to 6am, in all areas where there is a risk of gatherings and assembly.
The use of masks is not required in:
children less than 6 years of age;
disabled people that cannot wear a mask for a long period and their caregivers.

Fair enough. To be honest I did not check on that but it was a provision relating to people from the same household travelling in a car. Friends travelling in the same car must wear masks if any one of them does not live in the same house. No mention of other circumstances is made but it would be a reasonable interpretation to say that people living together could be exempt under other circumstances. In practice this is also extended to people who are in a fixed relationship even if they don't live together, specific permission was given to people in fixed relationships (fiancées) to visit each other's homes when the lockdown rules were relaxed, though you may have to argue your case if stopped by police. PS. Other than children (who wear masks on trains and at school) it is noticeable that more people are wearing masks in these days as the number of contagions are increasing, all be it slowly.

There are reports that the virus is evolving, to make it more infectious and that simple face masks have little or no impact.
The good news is that the virus is much less aggressive, it wants us to suffer and survive, so we can infect more and more people.

Lots of questions....
What is the exit strategy?
At some point a decision has to be made to return to “normal” pre Covid19 life. What level of risk will have to be taken to enable this?
If/when a vaccine is produced then can we deal with Covid19 in the way we deal with flu, for example? Covid19 jabs offered to similar at risk sections of the population leaving the lesser vulnerable population to live with it?
One aspect to look into further is the lingering long term health effects that those who get Covid19 may have. The degree of effect it has appears to vary greatly with young, fit people getting serious post infection problems whilst others seem so far to shrug it off.
Do we have any Politicians/Health experts prepared to put themselves in the firing line by deciding when the risk becomes acceptable? It could be surmised that they are doing this with the relaxing/reinstatement of lockdowns.
I also smell the setting up of deniability and blame avoidance.
Does anyone know if money has been recouped from the purchase of sub standard PPE?

By the way the other thing that was discussed is that China, which had the most severe lockdown, now only has contagions from external sources, that is to say Chinese nationals returning to China from overseas. They recently took swabs of the entire population of Wuhan and found no new infections.
