My latest issue seems to be trim that comes loose after every run as shown in the picks below. It appears this has had some sort of sealant on it at some stage which is degrading and coming loose. My issue is I don't want to use something like gorilla glue which would might cause paint issues if the trim needed to be removed for some reason. Does anyone have any suggestions for glue that will be strong enough but not permanent? ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2020/09/27/20200926_152555.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2020/09/27/20200926_152546.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2020/09/27/20200926_152540.jpg)

Silicone would work well, sticks well and easy to peel off.

Kevin, 'Sikaflex' or 'Tigerseal' is your friend TigersealIt is messy (but you can remove any excess with Meths or white spirit) . It sticks very well and ,unlike silicone sealant , will not affect any future paint work you wish to have done....... James

Those rubbers were glued with contact adhesive from new
You’ve done well and they’ve lasted 19 years before falling off We were re-gluing them at PDI on some cars.....

Carbuilder solutions do a nice silicone type beading which sticks like S%$£ and can be stretched to thin it if needed..

Thanks guys. Like the thought of it not affecting future paint as it's on the front balance stone catcher so going with sikaflex crystal clear as tiger seal is coloured and not sure if evo stick products affect paint.
As an aside is this round rubber trim with a slot in it as per the first picture easy to get hold of?

It shouldn't be too hard to find some. Wise move to steer clear of silicone on the paintwork ;if you have ever had the dreaded 'fisheyes' in your newly painted finish you will know what I mean..... I've used silicone in the past to re fix door seals that have fallen off, it worked well but could have been an issue later had the door needed painting. I would have thought a good panel wipe or cleaner would remove any silicone residue but maybe not.
